Day 1Start your day with a walk through the narrow streets of Vevey (market on the Grande Place on Tuesdays and Saturdays) and along the promenade (you can’t miss the giant fork!); enjoy next a short coffee break with lakeside views or visit the Alimentarium and conclude this morning by lunch on a terrace.
Afternoon, go discover the museum Chaplin’s World (allow at least 2 hours) and followed by a stroll through the Lavaux vineyards, UNESCO-listed World Heritage, and aperitif..
Day 2The next day, board the Montreux cog railway to reach the Rochers-de-Naye (2'042 m. altitude) and enjoy an exceptional view of the Alps and Lake Geneva. On the way back, treat yourself to a typical meal at the chalet-restaurant Le Coucou in the Haut-de-Caux.
In the afternoon, return to Montreux via Glion (Glion-Territet funicular) or via the old town on the heights. Take time to walk along the flowered quays and experience the Queen Studio. Once the visit is over, go to the Montreux landing stage for a tour of the Riviera by Belle-Epoque boat.
Day 3On the third day, it’s time to visit Chillon Castle (allow at least 2 hours) and Chillon Fort (allow 1 hour 30 minutes): two not-to-be-missed experiences! You can find places to eat on site or in Villeneuve and its medieval village, right at the tip of the lake.
In the afternoon, make your way to the Grangettes nature reserve, or alternatively, the Aquaparc or the Swiss Vapeur Parc at Le Bouveret.
Day 4Finally, for your last day, picnic and relaxation on a Riviera beach! The opportunity to try your hand at stand up paddle, wakeboarding or water-skiing with a view of the vineyards of Lavaux.
In the evening, treat yourself to an aperitif and a meal on a terrace by the lake, bathed in the light of the sunset.
Proudly standing on its rocky island on Lake Geneva since the 12th century, Chillon Castle is the most visited historical monument in Switzerland.
Listed as a UNESCO cultural heritage site since 2007, the land stretching from Lutry to Vevey has been shaped by human hands since the 11th century.
