The Montreux Riviera is the cradle of the famous Swiss milk chocolate. In 1875, Daniel Peter first produced a blend of chocolate and milk in his workshop in Vevey. This invention revolutionised the manufacture of chocolate and established its international reputation.

Many chocolate manufacturers in the area still continue this tradition, to the great delight of all lovers of fine chocolate !
