If you have only one day on the Montreux Riviera, here are a few suggestions to get the most out of your visit ! Start, for example, with a visit to Chillon Castle. When the visit is over, return to Montreux by the flower-bedecked promenade and conclude this morning with a meal on the terrace by the lake. Afternoon, start with after-lunch stroll in the old town of Vevey and go discover tour of Chaplin’s World (allow 2 hours). For your evening, have an aperitif in a Lavaux-UNESCO cellar and discover the local gastronomy in one of the many inns in the vineyard, most of them listed in the Gault & Millau.
