Ideally located in the centre of Villeneuve, the Bertholet cellar is close to public transport and Lake Geneva. The estate also offers a beautiful terrace in the vineyards with a view of the lake and the mountains. Tasting sessions as well as public and private events take place there.
The Bertholet estate has been a family business for four generations. It is located in Villeneuve, in the Chablais AOC designation. Chasselas, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Gamay are grown on a little more than seven acres of vineyards using integrated production methods that respect nature. The wines are produced at the estate and sold directly to customers. In addition to wines, the Bertholet family produces grape juice, eaux-de-vie and original products such as red-wine salt and grapes on the lees. They offer boxes containing wine bottles and specialties. Lovely gift ideas!
The Bertholet estate holds the Vaud Œnotourisme label. Their beautiful terrace is ideal for wine tastings and public events. Fondues, raclette bar, grilled cervelat, brisolée (roasted chestnuts served with cheese, cured meats, and fruits): gourmet evenings in sync with the seasons. From March to November, an evening aperitif is held each first Thursday of the month. The terrace with its view of the lake and the mountains is very popular. It can also be rented for private events. A list of approved caterers is available on request.
