Founded in 1907 as a cooperative, Viticole Villeneuve SA currently counts 35 owner-winemakers. The members share 13 hectares of vineyards, of which 70% are Chasselas, 20% Pinot Noir and Gamay, and 10% specialties such as Pinot Gris, Gamaret, Garanoir, Cabernet Franc and Merlot.
Nearly a dozen reds, whites and rosés are produced by Viticole Villeneuve thanks to the work of its 35 members. These wines, which are sun-gorged thanks to the vineyard's microclimate warmed up by the Föhn wind and the sunset, can be enjoyed in the charming village of Villeneuve on the shores of Lake Geneva.
Viticole Villeneuve receives its visitors from Monday to Saturday in an authentic setting. Outside of opening hours and for groups, tastings are possible by appointment. At the price of CHF 10 per person, there are packages including a cellar visit and tasting of Chasselas, Gamay and Pinot Noir accompanied by the famous Vaudois “flûtes au sel”.
