Montreux Riviera is the ideal destination to travel and experience an unforgettable moment with your family. Between the lake, historic towns and fun museums, everything here takes on an air of discovery and adventure. The icing on the cake is that the places to visit are close by and accessible by public transport and on foot.
One thing is certain, you'll leave with plenty of memories!
On the quays of Vevey, you may come across a giant fork... This kitchen utensil, created by the artist Jean-Pierre Zaugg in 2014, is a must-see during your visit to Vevey! Located on the Quai Perdonnet opposite the Alimentarium and close to the Charlie Chaplin statue, it is the ideal place to take some photos and dip your feet.
Don't miss the Jardin Doret, a green setting near the lake with a playground for children. A space conducive to relaxation and fun for young and old.

"The real plus in Vevey is that you can do without a car! With the accessibility of public transport and the proximity of key places on foot, this town exudes a certain serenity."

What better way to start a family day than with a trip on public transport? From "Vevey, gare", take bus no. 212 to "Chaplin", the bus stop named after a well-known actor.

The bus takes us straight to "Chaplin's World", a museum entirely dedicated to the life and work of Charlie Chaplin. We enter the intimacy of Charlie Chaplin exactly where the famous artist lived the last 25 years of his life.

We go back down to the city by bus in the opposite direction. Once in Vevey, we head for the lakefront to eat a good artisanal ice cream. Yummy!

Ice cream in hand, sunglasses on the nose, we stroll along the Vevey quays with a wandering soul. You come across a statue of Charlie Chaplin and even a giant fork. Ideal for a few photos!

A giant fork stuck in the lake signals the entrance to the Alimentarium. Tasty and fun exhibits, the kids loved it.

We head towards the Jardin Doret, walking along the cobbled streets of the old town of Vevey. When we arrive at the garden, we take a short break at the playground, in a setting that invites us to stroll.

The day ends with a cruise on Lake Geneva aboard the majestic Belle Époque boats of the CGN. From Vevey-Marché, you can admire the Chillon Castle, the Dents du Midi, the Ile de Peilz and the Grangettes nature reserve. An unmissable escapade!
