Swisstainable: 1 goal, 3 levels
Swisstainable is the Swiss tourism sustainability program. It is designed for tourism businesses and destinations and provides guidance on which ones meet the requirements defined by the corresponding program level.
Level I – Committed
Businesses and destinations meet the program’s specific requirements and commit to taking concrete measures and continuing their development.
Level II – Engaged
In addition to the program’s requirements, participants have recognized proof of sustainability for this level.
Level III – Leading
Participants have comprehensive, recognized proof of sustainability that covers the various dimensions of sustainability and is externally verified.
Swisstainable Destination
Montreux Riviera is actively committed to the Swisstainable programme, a national initiative led by Switzerland Tourism to promote sustainable development in Swiss tourism.
This programme highlights the industry’s commitment and supports service providers in their efforts towards a responsible and forward-looking tourism model.
