If you’re planning a weekend on the Montreux Riviera, here are some suggestions to ensure you don’t miss the highlights when it comes to relaxation and sightseeing.

Start your first day with a stroll through Vevey’s cobbled streets and along the lakeside promenade, then enjoy a coffee break with lake views and visit the Alimentarium. End the morning with a meal on a terrace.

Afternoon, go discover the museum Chaplin’s World (allow at least 2 hours) and followed by a stroll through the Lavaux vineyards and aperitif.

The next day, board the Montreux cog railway to reach the Rochers-de-Naye (2'042 m. altitude) and enjoy an exceptional view of the Alps and Lake Geneva. On the way back, treat yourself to a typical meal at the chalet-restaurant Le Coucou in the Haut-de-Caux.

In the afternoon, return to Montreux via Glion (Glion-Territet funicular) or via the old town on the heights. Take time to walk along the flowered quays and experience the Queen Studio. Once the visit is over, go to the Montreux landing stage for a tour of the Riviera by Belle-Epoque boat.
