Inspiration and entertainment: nest is a completely new discovery space where Nestlé provides an insight into the very foundations of the company at its birthplace in Vevey. It all started with Henri Nestlé in 1866. Much more than a museum, nest takes the visitor through the 150 years of history of a truly unique brand, which is close to the heart of every Swiss citizen, via a spectacular multimedia journey through the past and into the future, a family experience, to be enjoyed.
Alimentarium, Food Museum
Founded by Nestlé, the Alimentarium is the first museum in the world entirely dedicated to food, opening up a dialogue on past and present eating habits through its interactive displays. Situated on the Vevey lakeshore, the Alimentarium can be easily identified by the giant fork embedded in Lake Geneva.
Swiss Game Museum
Housed in Tour-de-Peilz Castle, near Vevey and Lake Geneva, the collections of the Swiss Museum of Games offer a wealth of entertaining information about the universal concept of games through the ages and across borders. Families can also participate in a board game in the games room.
Vevey History Museum
During this cultural visit, children and adults learn about the history of the Vaudois town through ancient objects, canvases and photographs. Near Lake Geneva, Vevey History Museum shares its premises with the Confrérie des Vignerons, the winemaking society that organises the legendary Fête des Vignerons.
