The park briefly presented

Stretching from Montreux to Bulle, and from Gstaad to Gruyères, the Regional Natural Park boasts an alpine and rural identity.

These diverse landscapes reflect centuries of human activity. The area is home to remarkable biotopes and geotopes as well as a great wealth of fauna and flora. The Park also offers a programme of activities, with visits accompanied by mountain guides to observe the fauna and to discover the nature reserves and the architectural heritage of the local villages.

Situation: between the two cantons Fribourg and Vaud, 80 km from Lausanne and 60 km from Fribourg.

  • Vallée de la Jogne: Val-de-Charmey, Châtel-sur-Montsalvens, Crésuz.
  • Vallée de l’Intyamon: Bas-Intyamon, Grandvillard, Haut-Intyamon.
  • Pays-d’Enhaut: Château-d’Œx, Ormont-Dessous (Les Mosses), Rossinière, Rougemont.
  • Rochers-de-Naye: les hauts des trois communes de Montreux, Veytaux avec le château de Chillon et Villeneuve
Réserves naturelles (Pro Natura): La Pierreuse, Le Vanil Noir, Le Larzey
