Famous for its huge Winegrowers’ Festival and its Images Festival, Vevey is also well-known for holding unusual events and its relaxed lifestyle. On the shores of the lake, in the streets of the old town, or on the numerous café and bistro terraces, everything here invites you to relax.
A quick glance at the cultural scene shows us that Vevey is pulsating with museums, exhibitions and concerts of all kinds. Are we in heaven? We could well be...
The old town of Vevey is a maze of narrow streets that are great to stroll down. Round every corner in this pedestrian zone, you will find fountains and statues, some of which are hundreds of years old, coloured emblems and frescoes, as well as numerous cafes, terraces and shops.
Finishing your day at the Bains Payes with a superb view, some succulent snacks and direct access to the joy of swimming in Lake Geneva is priceless.

There is no better way of discovering the numerous stories and anecdotes that form the DNA of a town. After all, Vevey is where milk chocolate was invented in 1875!

We continue exploring the place, wandering through the cobbled streets, past the shops and cafés. Try your best not to buy EVERYTHING!

Armed with some delicious takeaway food, we pick a perfect spot for a picnic on the lake shore. With 2 km of fully accessible shoreline to choose from, it is not hard to find your dream spot.

For dessert: a visit to the first museum in the world dedicated entirely to food. A magnificent building and a tasty exhibition. Yum!

Have your picture taken standing next to the giant fork and the statue of Chaplin, before searching the lake shore and the old town for a terrace. There is no lack of them!

If you are looking for the perfect place for a drink, this is it. Superb atmosphere, superb view! What’s more, the sunset promises to be gorgeous.
