By boatThe Compagnie Générale de Navigation (CGN) offers a regular service all along the shores of Lake Geneva, particularly between France and the 10 landing stages of the Montreux Riviera region.
Getting around by public transport
CFF – railwayMontreux train station is only 10 minutes walk from the city centre. It provides easy access to the main cities in Switzerland and Europe.
VMCV - public busesThe main VMCV bus line is number 201 and runs every 10 minutes along the lake from Vevey to Villeneuve via Montreux.
