Scex du Châtelard, Beauregard or Chez-les-Rois, these are the names of some of the places that visitors can discover or rediscover on this walk through the hamlets nestling in the upper reaches of the commune of Villeneuve (9 in all). This is an itinerary that is aimed primarily at experienced walkers, given its altitude difference (327 m.) and the steepness of the paths taken. There is the possibility of making a stop at the Palaeolithic cave of Le Scex or at the top of the 231 steps near the Châtaigneraie de Chenaux. Vineyards, pastures, forests and a splendid panorama of Lake Geneva are on the programme!
