In 2013, the Cinema Rex in Vevey celebrated its 80th anniversary. An impressive longevity for Switzerland's first multiplex, which allowed it to welcome numerous personalities,such as Charlie Chaplin, who used to come to the Rex to test the soundtrack of his movies, or famous people like Robert Downey JR, Benoit Poelvoorde or the Oscar winning director Michel Hazanavicius ("The Artist"). The Rex offers a wide variety of films for all tastes!
