Auberge de Rivaz is known as a gem in the beautiful terraced vineyards of Lavaux that are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Programme. It is an authentic “pinte vaudoise” (a local term for traditional inns) with its terrace offering one of the most beautiful views of Switzerland. The new owners are well known for their long-standing experience at the Lausanne Palace. They have preserved the typical atmosphere while modernising it and adding a few touches of a Parisian-style brasserie.
The restaurant has already been awarded 14 GaultMillau points. There are also several renovated bedrooms and the famous pinte vaudoise where the best Lavaux wines are offered. The French Chef prepares his fine Mediterranean brasserie-type cuisine and combines it with the typical bistro dishes from here.
