The Astropléiades trail on the Pléiades belvedere (alt. 1348m) is a path offering an introduction to astronomy, drawing on the views of Lake Geneva and Le Grammont to teach walkers all about the Earth and the stars. The four stages of this 1½-hour trail explain observations from Earth; the solar system; the stars; and the Milky Way. The Astropléiades trail is open in summer. To reach the trail from Vevey, take the Train des Etoiles on the rack railway.
