The Dance estate enjoys an idyllic setting in the heart of the terraced Lavaux UNESCO vineyards. Pascal and Cécile organise tastings of their dozen vintage wines on the terrace with a stunning view or in a pleasant pavilion.
The original name of this vintner family established in Aran since 1451 lends itself well to the poetic names of their wines. For example “Alors on Dance?” “Le Temps Dance” or “Noble Dance” for assemblages or little-known grape varieties. These wines are presented in small bottles as if to highlight their uniqueness. The family says that the flagship of their wine range is “Les Echelettes”, a fine Chasselas representative of the region’s king varietal.
The estate of Pascal and Cécile holds the Vaud Œnotourisme label and offers their guests a personal welcome. The view of Lake Geneva and the Alps from the terrace is stunning and the tasting pavilion pleasant. On request, terroir products complement the wine tasting sessions.
