Commissioned in 1887 by Joseph Hlávká, friend and patron of Dvorák (1842-1904), "Mass in D major". Two pieces by Joseph Gabriel Rheinberger, "Abendlied" and "Salve Regina", as well as the "Ave maris Stella", are also included. Ave maris Stella" by Grieg complete the program.
