Lion d'Or, Chexbres

Located in Chexbres, in the heart of the Lavaux UNESCO vineyards, the Lion d'Or is a lovely place, managed by the region’s well-known gourmet professionals. Their roots and their love of the Vaud canton are mixed together in a large, varied menu. Amateurs can find specialities such as “potence”, Australian fondue or “bitoque” (a Portuguese beef steak) among the many meat suggestions. Pizzas, a tribute to Italian cuisine, can be eaten on the spot or to go, while a large choice of pasta brings together “Nonna’s” expertise for a good price too.

The wine list accompanies the food menu, giving Lavaux wines pride of place but also allowing guests to discover Italian, Spanish and Portuguese nectars.
