Flash! A short history of lighted photography

The exhibition explores some of the major visual transformations produced by the flash, from the 19th to the 21st century. In the catacombs of 19th-century Paris, at the close of New York's night-time murders, or with paparazzi scrutinizing movie stars, the flash plays a central role.
