Chocolate Train
The Chocolate Train travels from Montreux across the lush meadows in Gruyère. A one-day excursion to discover the art of cheese and chocolate making.
This journey takes place exclusively in de luxe Belle Epoque or panoramic carriages to encounter two national treasures: Gruyère and chocolate.
In the morning, the train stops at a cheese dairy in Gruyère, the birthplace of the famous hard cheese (AOC), which has been produced for centuries and exported worldwide.
In the afternoon, the train takes visitors to the chocolate factory in Broc. An interactive audiovisual show describes the history and the secrets of chocolate making in an authentic chocolate factory.
The Chocolate Train runs three times a week from May to October and every day in July and August. Advance booking required.
