Blonay-Chamby
Drawn by old vapour engines or old electric railcars, historic rail carriages travel over a distance of three kilometres between Blonay and Chamby station.
Throughout the journey over mountain ledges, through tunnels and over a viaduct, the antique engines of the Blonay-Chamby line offer visitors an authentic immersion in the past in a beautiful, natural setting. A real technical feat, the railway tracks above Lake Geneva were built between 1874 and 1935.
On arrival, interested visitors can prolong their outing by taking the time to admire the most beautiful vehicles in the Chaulin-Chamby museum collection. There is no doubt that the sixty vehicles present one of the most beautiful railroad collections in Switzerland.
The Blonay-Chamby Railway Museum also proposes various excursion packages to groups who want to celebrate a particular event or who simply want to spend a relaxing and romantic moment in a setting where time has stood still.
