Inspiration and entertainment: nest is a completely new discovery space where Nestlé provides an insight into the very foundations of the company at its birthplace in Vevey. It all started with Henri Nestlé in 1866. Much more than a museum, nest takes the visitor through the 150 years of history of a truly unique brand, which is close to the heart of every Swiss citizen, via a spectacular multimedia journey through the past and into the future, a family experience, to be enjoyed.
Cailler chocolate, Le Parfait spread, Maggi condiment sauce, Thomy, what else? Everyone has a connection to Nestlé, the brand that has a special place at the heart of Swiss culture. It's now possible to experience Nestlé in the very place where it was born – from its foundations to its vision for the future – and gain an insight into one of the most respected Swiss multinationals. To celebrate its 150th anniversary, Nestlé is opening nest, a discovery space in its historic birthplace of Vevey. On the very spot where Henri Nestlé invented his first "milk food" for babies in 1866.
As a place of inspiration and entertainment, nest is aimed at families and anyone who is interested in finding out more about Nestlé. It enables visitors to get close to the spirit of the men and women whose work and inventions have advanced our knowledge in the fields of taste and nutrition, in relation to health and well-being.
The original buildings of Henri Nestlé have been faithfully restored and form a stunning architectural complex across several spaces.
